Wendy Reed co-chairs the Marketing and Advertising Law Group at Heenan Blaikie, LLP, one of Canada's leading law firms, with approximately 600 lawyers and other professionals. She has practiced exclusively in this area of law for over 25 years, advising extensively on promotions, misleading advertising, packaging and labeling, the marketing of food, alcoholic beverages and other regulated products, the pursuit or defense of advertising challenges and marketing-related agreements. She has a strong focus on green marketing issues, speaking on these across North America.

Ms Reed is regularly listed in the “Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada” (Expert/American Lawyers Media), “The Best Lawyers in Canada” (Woodward-White Inc.) and has the highest rating designation (AV®) awarded by Martindale-Hubbell, a prominent legal directory, for skill and ethics.

Ms Reed has an LL.B from UBC, an LL.M from the London School of Economics, and a black belt in karate.
